Breathing
Breath is the regulator.
The breathing pillar
Most people breathe the way they manage stress — shallow, chesty, fast. That doesn’t change just because you walk into a gym. It needs to be trained, the same way you’d train a squat.
What we work on: nasal breathing, breath-holds, breath-pace under load, recovery between sets, downregulation after sessions. Small things. Repeated. Compounded.
What changes: how calmly you handle hard sets. How quickly you recover. How well you sleep. How your nervous system responds when the rest of life turns the dial up.
It’s the pillar that looks the least like training. It pays the most across everything else you do.
