The gym at CMC, Norwood

A gym built for the next twenty years.

Strength, movement, breath and capacity. Coached, structured, and not in a hurry.

See the week

Most people train two or three times a week. Sessions run Monday to Saturday.

Conditioning work on the blue turf at 32 Magill Road: open floor, room to move.

What the gym is.

The gym is the larger half of what happens at 32 Magill Road. Barbells, dumbbells, sleds, rowers and turf, in a room with light in it and space to move.

Every session is coached and every session is programmed. You are not handed a workout and left to it, and you are not dragged through someone else's. The work is written to build across months, and the coach fits it to whoever walked in that day.

Classes are booked, so the floor is never a queue. Most people train two or three times a week, and one membership covers all of it.

What is in the room.

  • A coach, every session

Not a screen on the wall and not a program you were emailed. Someone in the room who knows what you are working on.

  • Written to progress

The session you do this week is built on the one you did last week. That is the whole difference between training and working out.

  • Room to actually move

Barbells, dumbbells, sleds, rowers and turf, in a room that is not queued and not crowded.

Four parts of one practice

Four parts of one practice. They are not four programs, they are four things one session can be built from.

The week as it stands.

Everything a gym membership covers, straight off the live timetable. Booking opens from the session.

What it costs.

One membership, and it covers every gym class on the timetable. A coach is in the room for all of them.

It renews every week until you stop it.

  • Your two weeks start at your first class, not the day you buy, so there is no rush to begin.
  • It ends after two weeks. Nothing renews, nothing to cancel, and we will not ask you for a payment method to hold it open. One per person.

Couples and family.

Ask us about our couples and family rates before you join, and we will set it up.

If someone in your family is under 16, they are welcome with a parent or guardian's permission. Talk to us first. The Nth Degree coaches younger athletes in the same building, and we will tell you honestly which room suits them.

Not sure where to start?

If you would rather talk to someone before you spend anything, do that instead. Tell us what you are after and we will point you at the right first session.
